We welcome enquiries from support workers, agencies, community groups and organisations interested in supporting better outcomes.

Make an initial enquiry ↗

Report a repair, damp or mould

Tell us what has happened, where the problem is and how we can contact you. Photographs can help us understand the issue and arrange the right response. Report damp and mould as soon as you notice it so we can investigate the cause and keep you informed.

For urgent property problems, call rather than relying on email or WhatsApp. In an immediate emergency, contact the emergency services.

Your voice, rights & concerns

We want residents to feel heard and treated with respect. Speak to your key worker or email enquiry@velourhousing.co.uk to raise a concern, make a complaint or request information about your rights and our policies.

Your questions, answered

A little more clarity.

What is supported accommodation?

Supported accommodation combines a place to live with help to manage everyday life and work towards independence. The type and level of support should be discussed before a placement is agreed.

Can I enquire for myself?

You can start an initial accommodation enquiry for yourself. We will explain the referral and assessment process and discuss whether our accommodation may be suitable.

Can a support worker or organisation make a referral?

Professionals can make an initial enquiry on someone’s behalf. Please do not include medical information, safeguarding details or other sensitive records in an initial enquiry. Appropriate information-sharing arrangements should be agreed first.

What will I need to pay?

Rent, service charges and any benefits-related arrangements depend on the accommodation and individual circumstances. These should be explained clearly before you accept a placement.

Where are your homes and are there vacancies?

Rooms are available at Gospel Farm Road in Acocks Green, Kelynmead Road in Stechford Rockingham Road in Yardley and Parsons Mew in Kings Norton. View the photo galleries and contact us to confirm current availability and suitability. An enquiry does not guarantee a placement.
